The passing away of Rajan Bala is a great blow to sportslovers who used to follow the news and reviews, written in newspapers. Though he had an indepth knowledge in cricket he was at home in any piece of writing which includes sports. Above all he is an erudite scholar who has read many books. His knowledge of the Bible also was quite amazing, when he used to quote some examples. Adieu Rajan Bala.
