The Braves activated McLouth from the 15-day disabled list before Friday night's game against the Cincinnati Reds.

September 1st, 2009 Mariners activate Beltre from DLSEATTLE — The Seattle Mariners have activated Gold Glove third baseman Adrian Beltre from the 15-day disabled list. The team also recalled first baseman Mike Carp and left-handed pitcher Jason Vargas from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday.

Veras, acquired on Wednesday from the Yankees for cash, went 3-1 with a 5.96 ERA in 25 appearances for New York before he was designated for assignment on June 16.

June 24th, 2009 Padres outfielder Giles lands on DLSEATTLE — San Diego Padres outfielder Brain Giles was placed on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday because of a right knee contusion. The injury is to Giles' right knee, the same knee that he had surgery on following the 2007 season.

Lopez, who leads the team with 42 RBIs, left the club before Thursday's game against San Diego to return to his native Venezuela because his sister is seriously ill.
