The global IT services business of Wipro Limited (NYSE:WIT), today announced that it has partnered with Atheeb Telecom for deploying an end-to-end IT solution covering OSS/ BSS and the underlying infrastructure components. As part of the five year contract, Wipro will deliver next-generation services through Business-IT alignment, and implement a future-ready IT architecture in accordance with industry standards and global best practices. Atheeb Telecom ‘GO’ is the latest telecom service provider in Saudi Arabia, and provides Triple Play Services including WiMax over MPLS network.
Atheeb Telecom aims to extend its operations across Saudi Arabia, by deploying the largest WIMAX network in Europe and Middle East. An OSS/BSS infrastructure that is flexible, scalable and supports services around the IMS network is required to meet this challenge. Cutting edge solutions from Wipro will enable Atheeb to deliver industry leading customer experience through differentiated services comprising voice, data & multimedia content.
