POOLE, England - WDSGlobal announced today the signing of a global agreement enabling HP to resell WDSGlobal’s DCE (Device Configuration Engine) software to HP’s Mobility Solutions customers.
Targeted to mobile operators, the offering will integrate HP’s MMC (Mobile Management Center) and WDSGlobal’s DCE (Device Configuration Engine), delivering a comprehensive Mobile Device Management solution to better enable value-added data services across the feature phone category.
“Mobile Device Management has become a core tool for mobile operators looking to remotely manage the connectivity of subscriber handsets and maintain access to mobile data services. We chose HP because of their familiarity with Mobile Device Management, an already successful collaboration in the Chinese market, and because HP’s MMC solution could be fully integrated into our existing DCE technology,” said John Ainsworth, Vice President Partners, WDSGlobal.
The solution is currently available from HP, and is a key element of HP’s Mobility Solutions portfolio.
