July 1st, 2009 LONDON - Unite, the UK's largest union, is astonished that many London buses are so inadequately maintained they can not turn off the heating during the summer meaning temperatures of 45 degrees Celsius on some buses, making it hotter than Dubai. June 30th, 2009 LONDON - In a first for a British trade union, Unite the union, will table a resolution at Tesco's AGM on Friday 3rd July. The resolution calls for action to end the exploitation and discrimination of workers employed by companies in the UK and Ireland that supply meat to Tesco.
