- Part of Overall Belden Quality Program
Trapeze Networks (NYSE: BDC) today announced it is now aligned with Belden’s overall quality initiative. As part of this initiative, customer feedback was collected via web based customer surveys to measure the customer service and support teams effectiveness and customer satisfaction rate.
Trapeze supports a diverse set of customers including OEM’s, channel partners, and direct sale customers through a variety of access methods including web support portal, emails, and phone calls. Recently Trapeze initiated a web-based customer survey for a 30-day period for those customers registered with Trapeze’s web support portal. In all areas of the survey, the customer service and support team received high marks, and overall 95% of all respondents rated Trapeze as average, above average or excellent. Trevis Schuh, vice president of worldwide customer service for Trapeze Networks, says, “Trapeze is already known for its excellent service and support, and truly values customer and partner feedback to promote continual improvement. This is the first in a series of customer service initiatives in an ongoing effort to raise the bar on customer service.
Here’s the breakdown of the specific results. Percentages listed are for positive results including “Average,” “Above Average” or “Excellent (Among the best I have experienced)”
- Rate the support you receive from the Trapeze Support team (ease of access/quality/response times) 95.2% - Rate your web support portal experience 94.1% - Rate the quality and accuracy of Trapeze product documentation and support portal information 92% - Rate Trapeze training programs, delivery, and content 96% - Rate Trapeze warranty, service maintenance programs, and service pricing 97.3%
The final question on the survey was, “Would you recommend Trapeze to other customers?” and the response was, 89% -Yes, 8%-Maybe, 3% -No.
Trapeze is one of the few WLAN companies that shares this type of customer feedback data, both to promote the positive results and to also drive further customer feedback in the future.
