LONDON - Ticketmaster UK Ltd, a Ticketmaster Entertainment, Inc.
(NASDAQ:TKTM) company, today announced that it has secured an exclusive
contract to provide ticketing services to the 2009 UK Athletics events.
Ticketmaster will provide exclusive ticket retail services, marketing and
event day services to UK Athletics via their agency Fast Track Events for
events in Glasgow, Birmingham, Sheffield, Gateshead and London. This new
contract adds to Ticketmaster’s existing and wide-ranging portfolio of sports
clients which includes Scottish Rugby, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships
and the NFL. Ticketmaster has also provided the ticketing services for many
large scale sports tournaments including most recently the 2007 IRB Rugby
World Cup in France, the 2008 Beijing Olympics in China and the Euro 2008
UEFA Championships in Switzerland and Austria.
