Mercantile Investment Group Hires Telecoms Head

LONDON - Mercantile Investment Group Ltd., today is very pleased to announce that Mr. Nadim Jawhari has joined the company as a Group Senior Vice President and President of the Telecom Division. Mr. Jawhari brings to the Group 20 years of professional experience in telecoms project development and M&A. For the past ten years, Mr. Jawhari has been the Managing Director of ConsultCom, a telecom strategy and business development consultancy working in the Middle East, Africa and CIS that has advised several private equity groups and telecom operators. Prior to ConsultCom, Mr. Jawhari was the Chief Commercial Officer of the Lebanese PTT (Ogero) where he was mainly responsible for the commercialization of the incumbent fixed line operator. Before that, he was the Telecom Manager for Solidere responsible for the design and building of the telecom and broadband infrastructure of the Beirut downtown district.He also worked previously with the Center for Telecommunications Research in New York, IBM Zurich Research Labs and with Dar Al-Handasah Consultants.
