PARIS - Electronics giant implements Campaign Commander(TM) to drive European email marketing
Sony has extended its contract with Emailvision and has announced that it will utilize Emailvision’s Campaign Commander (TM) software across its European electronics division, which covers 35 countries and 5 product divisions.
The software allows Sony to target their customers through an automatically triggered email cycle, based on when they register their product(s). A personalized email is sent at timed intervals, for example, 30, 60 and 90 days after registration, promoting specific offers and deals as well as hints and tips on how to best use the specific registered Sony product. This approach encourages return visits to Sony’s website or stores and ensures customers are receiving personalized communication.
“We have seen the importance of customer relationship management increase dramatically over recent years and lifecycle management programs are showing strong growth,” said Lauriane De Langhe, Customer Information Manager for Europe at Sony. “By targeting existing customers with relevant and personalized information on a regular basis, we have to be sure that we are using the right solutions. Emailvision has strong relationships with all the main global and local ISP’s across Europe. Combined with Campaign Commander(TM)’s tools, this guarantees Sony high levels of deliverability across all markets.”
“It is now more important than ever to foster existing relationships with customers by providing them with the right information at the right time,” said Nick Gold, UK managing director at Emailvision. “Sony is a great example of where email marketing is helping to maximize these personalized relationships and ensure greater marketing success.”
Emailvision is listed on the NYSE Euronext Alternext stock exchange -
