- Saffron Digital to Present at Tech Media Invest 2009 as one of the UK’s Top 100 Tech and Media Companies
Saffron Digital is delighted to announce that following its inclusion in the Tech Media Invest Top 100 listing, it will be participating at the Tech Media Invest 2009 event at the Emirates Stadium today, Thursday October 1st.
The Tech Media Invest Top 100 listing, organised by Europe Unlimited in association with The Guardian, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Kemp Little, names the hottest emerging and most innovative companies in the tech and media industries right now.
The Top 100 list aims to showcase young entrepreneurial companies that are developing innovative new ways to serve business and consumers, and have the potential to radically change the shape of the technology and media industry. Selected companies from the Top 100 list have the opportunity to present the company at the Tech Media Invest event to an audience of entrepreneurs, global investors, corporate partners and expert advisors.
Companies in the top 100 had to demonstrate a proven track record in financial performance, innovation, management, global strategy, and ecosystem integration. The Tech Media Invest Advisory Board deployed a detailed process to whittle down a pool of eligible, promising companies to get to the top 100 winners. The Advisory Board is made up of some of the UK’s most experienced investors in modern technology and media - a mix of venture capitalists, investment analysts, professional advisers and technology lawyers.
“We are naturally delighted that Saffron Digital has been included and is being given the opportunity to showcase the company at the Tech Media Invest event. Saffron continues to push boundaries in converged video platforms and domain-based DRM delivery technologies,” says Shashi Fernando, CEO of Saffron Digital. “Even better is the fact that we are in an ideal position to go from strength to strength with our unmatched innovative drive and ability to take a lead in the future business models and technologies for the entertainment industry.”
The full Tech Media Invest Top 100 listing was published in The Guardian newspaper in September 2009.
