- One Call Resolution Named Best at Industry Innovation Award
Redknee (TSX: RKN), a leading provider of business-critical software and solutions for communications service providers, is pleased to announce that its customer care solution, One Call Resolution, was awarded the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) InfoVision Award for providing the best network and services management and operations solution available. This latest recognition by the IEC was presented at the awards ceremony held at Broadband World Forum Europe yesterday.
Redknee’s One Call Resolution, which incorporates patented and patent pending technologies, is a customer care solution that enables customer service representatives and tactical network support technicians to resolve complex network problems quickly and efficiently. The solution increases the ‘first call resolution’ of subscriber complaints and reduces call handling times by giving support representatives an aggregated view of subscriber services. It also allows operators to streamline and unify their customer care processes with quick and easy ties into existing ticketing and care systems, helping to increase customer satisfaction.
On accepting the award, Bohdan Zabawskyj, Chief Technology Officer at Redknee, said that the award is an affirmation of Redknee’s innovation and leadership in real-time subscriber management and service assurance products.
Mr. Zabawskyj continued by stating:
“We are very pleased that our customer care solution has been highlighted by the IEC at the InfoVision Awards. The direct correlation between the quality of customer care and the level of customer satisfaction means that operators must prioritize their customer care, particularly in today’s economic climate. Customer care agents are in a pivotal position to increase customer satisfaction by resolving current problems quickly and effectively, as well as preventing other disruptive issues from developing. One Call Resolution provides the tools for customer care agents to do this efficiently in an increasingly complex environment of ’smartphones’, multiple access technologies, and core network infrastructure - while reducing operating costs for network operators.”
Commenting on Redknee’s award win, IEC President John Janowiak stated:
“The IEC’s InfoVision Awards recognize top contributions in the information and communications technologies (ICT) industry. We’re pleased to recognize Redknee as an InfoVision Awards winner for its One Call Resolution solution.”
The winners were selected by a panel of judges from the Broadband World Forum Europe 2009 Technical Program Committee.
