Digital entertainment services company RealNetworks(R) (NASDAQ: RNWK) today announced the global release of RealPlayer(R) SP. Available at www.realplayer.com, RealPlayer SP is the first software product that enables people to easily take Internet videos with them on their favourite device and share it with others via Twitter and Facebook. RealPlayer eliminates the complexity of downloading, converting and transferring video files, so consumers can simply enjoy their videos anywhere, on a wide range of popular devices. Since launching the RealPlayer SP beta in June, it has been downloaded by over four million people and more than 22 million videos have been downloaded using the product.
