ABU DHABI, UAE - In a sign of confidence for the region’s most exciting
consumer event of the year, Aujan Industries’ flagship fruit juice brand
Rani, has confirmed headline sponsorship of UBMi UAE’s Adrenaline Sports Live
Festival. Adrenaline Sports Live, presented by Rani, is the ideal platform
for Rani to interact directly with their target youth audience in the Gulf
region.

Adrenaline Sports Live, presented by Rani is an interactive
consumer festival designed to encourage the UAE and wider Gulf population to
become involved in adrenaline and adventure sports and to offer three days of
adrenaline pumping fun and activities. Established in 1905, Aujan Industries
is the largest privately owned, independent soft drink manufacturer, marketer
and distributor in the Middle East with over 2,200 employees and turnover of
US $500 million, and believes that the key demographics and the fun and fresh
nature of the festival align very closely with the Rani brand.
“We are delighted to be the headline sponsor for 2009
Adrenaline Sports live. We have extended and expanded our sponsorship of the
festival after witnessing its great success in the first year 2008. This
year’s festival is action packed. Fun is guaranteed”, says Ahmed Shaboury,
Head of Brands, Aujan Industries.
Rani’s headline sponsorship of the Adrenaline Sports Live
festival follows on from their successful sponsorship of several key elements
of the festival last year. At the launch edition of Adrenaline Sports Live,
Rani sponsored the climbing wall, zip line and abseil interactive features at
the show which proved immensely popular with visitors to the festival, and
allowed Rani to reinforce their brand to an enthusiastic, active and very
thirsty crowd! Once again, Rani will also sponsor these features at the
festival, as well as sponsoring the indoor amateur skate park. The Rani skate
park will offer youth visitors to the festival a specially constructed street
skate park for enthusiasts to learn to skateboard, brush up on their skills,
or simply show off to the thousands of visitors to the Adrenaline Sports Live
festival. And of course, Rani fruit juice will be on hand to quench their
thirst throughout.
“Skateboarding is a very popular sport among young locals and
expatriates in the region, with a strong sense of community among the youth
who participate. Rani is proud to be able to offer their key target market a
dedicated skatepark at the festival where they can show off their skills,
mingle with their peers, and enjoy the festival atmosphere over three days”.
Adrenaline Sports Live, presented by Rani takes place at the
Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre between the 8th and 10th of October
2009. The festival will feature demonstrations by professionals of some of
the wildest adrenaline sports, trials of adrenaline and adventure sports for
visitors, the latest sports products and accessories from the region’s
leading retailers manufacturers, clubs and associations for adrenaline sports
in the region, as well as companies offering short and long-term adventure
holiday packages.
