LONDON - Newly issued statistics for April show that the success rate for personal tax returns filed online using IRIS tax products (www.iris.co.uk/practice) was well above the average of 94.5% for third party software. The sheer volume of returns filed online using IRIS tax software makes this achievement even more remarkable with a total number of 12,491 returns filed across IRIS, PTP and Drummohr products.
6,860 returns were filed using the IRIS suite of practice software with a success rate of over 98% and 5631 returns were filed using Drummohr and PTP personal tax software; both also polled success rates well above the industry average demonstrating proven reliability across the IRIS range.
Based on the fact that 12,491 returns were filed in April alone, IRIS is on track to break the record it set for online filing in 2008/9 winning recognition as the largest third party electronic filing partner to the UK’s accountancy profession.
