NEWARK, New Jersey - Binary Tree’s CMT Universal 2.7.1 Further Enhances the Fidelity for
Migrating Email and Calendars, and Now Fully Supports Migrations to
Microsoft’s Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS Standard & BPOS
Dedicated)
Binary Tree announced today a new version of its market-leading email
migration software, CMT Universal. The latest release of the IBM Lotus Notes
to Microsoft Exchange email & calendar migration product, CMT Universal
2.7.1, adds new features for improved calendar and email fidelity as well as
support for migrating IBM Lotus Notes messaging systems to Microsoft Exchange
Online within the Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS).
“Customer and partner feedback is very influential in our product
roadmap,” stated Steve Mullen, Director of Product Development at Binary
Tree. “We’re fortunate to have such a vocal and dedicated customer and
partner community that drives continuous improvement in our software.”
CMT Universal 2.7.1 brings calendar and email data fidelity to an even
higher level with improved support for the most complex and unique meeting
recurrence patterns that power users and executives have in their calendars.
In addition to greater fidelity and improved performance, a common customer
request has been fulfilled which offers the ability for end users to
differentiate migrated calendar entries from newly created ones in Microsoft
Outlook.
CMT Universal 2.7.1 also supports migrating IBM Lotus Notes messaging
systems to the standard and dedicated versions of Microsoft Exchange Online
within the Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS). The new
version was pre-released for some specific customer engagements and has
already been used to migrate over 100,000 users to Microsoft BPOS.
“We started our migration to Exchange with a migration tool from another
company and experienced problems which they were simply unable to resolve for
us,” stated Bob Ponsar, Director of IT Operations, Goldleaf Financial
Solutions, Inc. “Binary Tree came to the rescue and our project was back on
track quickly. The installation and configuration was simple and the features
and functions completely exceeded our expectations resulting in a very smooth
migration for our entire company. We would not have made our deadline or met
our management’s objectives without CMT Universal.”
