TORONTO - OutlookImport.Com has announced the release of Outlook Import Wizard 1.6.2, the handy tool enabling a user to import email messages into Microsoft Outlook. The new version delivers a number of enhancements, including more flexible importing capabilities and eml preprocessing option. Outlook Import Wizard is now on a time limited offer for home users with a considerable discount.
When necessity occurs to change your e-mail client or move your data from one computer to another, it’s best to make sure you have a smart program at hand. Outlook Import Wizard provides the fast way to import e-mail messages into Microsoft Outlook. The app offers a wizard-style interface that allows converting eml, mbox and msg files into pst format and transferring them to MS Outlook quickly and easily, preserving the content of messages and original folder structure.
The efficiency and high performance of the program has already been appreciated by users. “We have a huge amount of eml and msg archives from our users stored at the backup server. I tried using other software to import email files to Outlook, but soon became bored of the long processing time, not to mention the high price tag. I started looking for an alternative, and found Outlook Import Wizard. This program is brilliant, and costs so little. I haven’t looked back, and am very pleased with it. We use it on a daily basis and it is a real time-saver.” - says Ben Danilevski.
But OutlookImport.Com is not going to stop improving the product. New to this version is the built-in mbox to eml converter. The mbox format is supported by e-mail applications, including Eudora, Thunderbird and Entourage, but it is not understandable to MS Outlook. The newest feature allows extracting messages from mbox files and saving them as separate eml files, which then can be easily imported into Microsoft Outlook.
Besides, Outlook Import Wizard now offers preprocessing option to ensure that you won’t have to face encoding issues when switching from MAC or Unix to Windows. This option allows to convert and import eml files saved from MAC OS or Unix system in a Windows-friendly encoding.
Moreover, version 1.6.2 boasts more flexible filtering options. Now you can choose messages to import: for instance, you may decide to import only messages with or without attachments. It’s also possible now to set the maximum size of the messages to be imported.
Expanding opportunities on processing the messages even further, the new Outlook Import Wizard enables you to choose whether you want to import the messages into the default Outlook profile, or import into the separate pst file; you can also create a new pst file for them. What’s more, msg files can be imported as rfc822 standard text email files.
Pricing and Availability
Outlook Import Wizard is compatible with Windows 98, Me, NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Windows 2003 and Vista and ready to run with Outlook 98, 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007. Enterprise License for one year is available at $29.95, and Site License costs $195.95. Home users can benefit from the time limited offer and purchase Individual License only for $14.95.
