MINNEAPOLIS - Fax-to-email server delivers increased production and quick ROI
Multi-Tech Systems announces the next generation of its FaxFinder(R) (www.multitech.com/en_US/PRODUCTS/Families/FaxFinder/) V.34 fax server (www.multitech.com/en_US/PRODUCTS/Families/FaxFinder/), enhanced to provide increased production and cost savings. Converting faxes to PDF or TIFF files to deliver via email is this fax product’s core function, eliminating the need for paper, toner, and even a fax machine. The higher level functionality of the new FaxFinder allows companies to use existing email software or a Web form to securely send, archive or automatically print faxes. Corporate offices can easily transmit faxes, over a WAN (www.multitech.com/en_US/DOCUMENTS/Tutorials/applications/80123.asp), to remote offices and field sales people. Administrators can view the status and history of faxes.

“We asked our FaxFinder customers how we could make the product even better,” said Bill Chesney, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Users needed more storage for archiving faxes, they needed to send time-sensitive faxes directly to the printer, and the ability to tie the FaxFinders directly to their internal systems. These new models were designed with that feedback in mind.”
The FaxFinder fax server allows companies like Keller Williams Realty(R) Flagship of Maryland (between Baltimore and Annapolis) the ability to manage high-volume faxing in-house. The administrator can now assign users and reroute faxes for agents who are temporarily out of the office.
Compatible with earlier FFx20 model fax servers, the FaxFinder connects to an analog port(s) of a PBX that is capable of DID to DTMF conversion. It integrates with a company’s existing phone system using standard RJ-11 line jacks and connects to a computer network using a RJ-45 Ethernet connection. The FaxFinder is configured via a TCP/IP connection.
