LONDON -
- Misys Message Manager Wins the Financial EAI Label
- Misys TI Plus Obtains the Trade Finance Label
- Misys Trade Portal Gains the Latest TSU Accreditation
Misys plc (LSE: MSY), the global application software and services company, today announces that it has won three separate SWIFTReady accreditations for its transaction banking solutions.
SWIFT initiated the SWIFTReady Label programme over 10 years ago to maintain the highest standards for third party applications and service providers. Each solution has to go through a stringent certification process and pass the rigorous tests and checks in order to gain accreditation.
Misys Message Manager has again passed the strict tests required to gain the SWIFTReady Financial EAI Label 2009, confirming its position as the financial messaging middleware of choice for banks of all sizes. Misys TI Plus, the trade finance processing system used by hundreds of banks throughout the world to automate their trade finance process has gained the new Trade Finance SWIFTReady Label. This is a feat that has been achieved every year since the solution was launched and, this year, included significant enhancements such as the support for the new corporate-to-bank MT798 SCORE messages for trade finance.
The third accolade given to Misys by SWIFT is for Misys Trade Portal. The e-banking solution was the first in the market to obtain the SWIFTReady Trade Services Utility (TSU) label upon its launch and it was further enhanced this year with the new financial supply chain service offering made available by the Release 2 of TSU. The Trade Services Utility was developed by SWIFT to provide banks with an efficient exchange of trade-related information through common messaging, industry standards and a utility that is supported by banks globally.
The success of Misys in meeting the increasingly demanding standards set by SWIFT highlights its continuing commitment to provide SWIFT-compliant solutions to the financial services industry.
Patrik Neutjens, Head of Partner Management, SWIFT, states: “It is extremely pleasing that Misys maintains its long tradition as an important partner of SWIFT. By continuing to win so many SWIFTReady labels for its transaction banking solutions, Misys demonstrates its commitment to the market, the high quality of their solutions and their relevance to the SWIFT community.”
Olivier Berthier, Solutions Director, Transaction Banking at Misys, comments: “We have a set of market-leading solutions on which our customers rely to enhance the services they give their clients, improve the efficiency of their transaction banking businesses and maintain their competitive edge. In this context, supporting the SWIFT initiatives and stringent certification process is key to addressing the needs of our clients. We are delighted that we have once more gained such important stamps of approval for our solutions. We have continually innovated and adapted our solutions to keep ahead of our customers and the market’s demands, which is why we have been able to gain these three key SWIFT accreditations.”
All solutions will be on show at Sibos in Hong Kong, 14-18 September 2009 at Misys Stand 3E09.
