NEW YORK -
Cohn & Wolfe, a leading global public relations agency, today announced that Linda Dyson has joined the firm as Executive Vice President and Global Healthcare Practice leader. She will report to Donna Imperato, CEO of Cohn & Wolfe.
Linda joins Cohn & Wolfe from Roche where, for the last three years, she was a public affairs and advocacy relations executive and company spokesperson. She directed strategy, marketing, and litigation communications across three business units, advised U.S. and global senior management, and served on cross-functional teams devoted to communications strategies, priorities and issues.
“Linda will bring great leadership and expertise to our clients and agency. She has a clear understanding of the challenges, needs and issues facing clients in today’s complex and rapidly changing healthcare environment,” said Donna Imperato. “Her appointment assures that Cohn & Wolfe will continue to provide one of the very best healthcare communications offerings - from product launches and issues and crisis management to full-scale digital and social media programs.”
Linda has two decades of global healthcare communications experience and brings tremendous expertise developing and executing the full spectrum of communications programs on behalf of pharmaceutical companies, healthcare systems, providers, government agencies and non-profit organizations. She has led more than 20 pharmaceutical/biotechnology product launches and supplemental indications globally, and is a seasoned issues and crisis management counselor.
“It’s a real thrill to join Cohn & Wolfe and lead a practice I have long admired for its smart, creative programs and informed, intelligent counsel,” said Linda. “I’m looking forward to working with a world-class roster of clients and an expert staff.”
Prior to joining Roche, Linda co-led the flagship New York healthcare practice for Ketchum, and held other senior leadership positions at healthcare communications firms, including Chandler Chicco, Edelman, and Vox Medica where she established pharmaceutical and biologics-based practices.
