GLASGOW, Scotland - Uddingston-based Kwik Fit Insurance has rewarded employees for 5 years loyal service with a luxurious lunch prepared by Brian Maule, Chef Proprietor of the celebrated Glasgow fine dining restaurant, Chardon d’Or.
Over 70 employees were joined by Kwik Fit Financial Services Group Managing Director, Brendan Devine and his board of directors on Friday, 5th June, for a relaxing day out. A fleet of limousines picked up the staff from the Tannochside offices, adding to the glitz and glamour of the day. The event consisted of a cocktail reception, followed by a three course lunch and a presentation to reward employees for the hard work and dedication to the company.
Each member of staff was presented with GBP60 worth of high street vouchers before retiring to the private bar to enjoy cocktails and drinks. Brian Maule, Chef Proprietor of Chardon d’Or, said: “We were delighted to welcome the staff and directors of Kwik Fit Insurance to celebrate their five years of service. It was a pleasure to see so many employees being rewarded for excellence and loyalty whilst also enjoying our hospitality.”
Further celebrations are planned on the 21st August when 17 fellow employees are also being treated to an overnight stay at the five star holiday resort, Turnberry Hotel, after completing 10 years service with the company.
Brendan Devine, Kwik Fit Financial Services Group Managing Director, presented the worthy employees with the awards. He said: “It’s important for us as a business to reward employees who contribute greatly to our sustained success. Despite difficult financial times, our business has continued to grow and our loyal workforce has been integral to this.”
