LONDON - The Unicorn is to stage the world premiere of Siobhan Dowd’s hit children’s book, The London Eye Mystery, in Spring 2010.
Young audiences will join Ted and his sister Kat as they follow a trail of clues across London on a hunt for their missing cousin Salim, last seen boarding the London Eye. If he went up, he must have come down….right?
The new adaptation by Unicorn Artistic Associate Carl Miller (The Red Fortress) will star the theatre’s Ensemble: Samantha Adams, John Cockerill, Julie Hewlett, Liam Lane, Ery Nzaramba and Amaka Okafor, plus special guest actors, and will be directed by Unicorn Associate Director Rosamunde Hutt.
This gripping children’s mystery novel was published in 2007 to critical acclaim, and won six children’s writing awards in 2008.
The London Eye mystery opens at the Unicorn theatre on 6 March2010, and runs until 18 April.
