Zion Balas, 44, married+3, has B.Sc in Industrial Engineering & Management from the Technion in Haifa, Israel.
Over the past 15 years he has fulfilled various senior managerial positions in operations, logistics and sales management at Strauss Group.
In the past three years he served as GM of Strauss Israel’s Sales Division which employs 2,000 people and generates NIS 3.2 billion in revenues.
Earlier in his career, Balas served as Operations Manager of Strauss Dairies, and was a member of the team that built the new Achihood Dairy in the late 90’s. Balas was later V.P. Operations of Strauss Fresh Foods with overall responsibility for all Strauss Fresh Foods plants.
