For the program, Connect by Hertz will place MINI Cooper Ds in Welwyn Garden City and Uxbridge for the benefit of its 1500 employees. Members of staff will have the opportunity to become members and book cars by the hour at any time of day from the www.connectbyhertz.com website.
The new car sharing project follows a recent event at Xerox where a range of sustainable initiatives were showcased to employees to mark Earth Day. At the event employees expressed strong support for an on-site car sharing service which spurred Xerox to run the car sharing pilot with Connect by Hertz.
