As a person, Barack is a well-intentioned, intelligent and inspirational human being, and I think he has a good deal of respect for India and it’s democratic institutions. I just hope that, as President, he is using his best judgement, based on accurate information (i.e. not the bogus propaganda from various anti-India forces and elements) and knowledge regarding the whole range of issues that involve India.
Also, he needs to get tough with China and stand up to its bullying on several fronts. Doing so is not only of interest to India, but it is also crucial for US’ own survival and future prosperity (in this regard, consider China’a recent moves and actions to de-dollarize the world economy.) Regular Chinese people are fine folk, but the regime ruling China is a ruthless and selfish bully on the international scene, including it wielding a major hand behind almost all of the nuclear proliferation that took place over the last 27 years (including its nuclear installation in Pakistan), and nuclear weapons may soon find a new home in Burma/Myanmar with China/Pak/NKorea playing the roulette in making that happen. Another emerging bully in international politics is Saudi Arabia, and attention needs to be paid to its nefarious activities around the world, including those in the Indian subcontinent.
GOI and their diplomatic team in the US need to get pro-active in establishing and maintaining strong communication channels with Pres. Obama (as well as SoS Hillary Clinton, and Dem/GOP law makers) and in making sure that he gets to hear the Indian side on all matters of interest at all times. They need to do the same in keeping in touch with the policy makers/thinkers as well as the media in the US. I believe that by being pro-active, India, it’s diplomatic mission in the US (with Indian-Americans lending a helping hand) can shape how President Obama and America act on matters of import to India, and to ensure that those policies get oriented in a manner that benefits both America and India simultaneously, in both short and long runs.

I will vote for President Obama today, yesterday, and tomorrow. I believe and trust this great man. President Obama is smart, sharp, centered, grounded, and knows what he is talking about. I trust him and so should you. We will be better off later than we have ever been in history. You just wait and see. We most of us I should say pray for him around the clock and know that he and the American people will be blessed. You please just wait and see. You gave Bush 8 years why can’t you give this man time enough for things to come together. Nothing happens over night. Just look at his plate which is full of the past. You have to overcome the past to see the bright future. It is coming just stay prayful and see for things are going to work for us. You hang in there Mr. President and stay focused on what is important and you will get the victory for all. Not just one but for all. White people are so mean and hateful for I just don’t understand them. I am white and I don’t feel like that. What is wrong with us for we have had all of our white life to have and be now all of a sudden we are blessed with a man of color must be by God for it would not have happened any other way other than a higher power and you don’t even want God to bless us. I am ashame of my own color. I was not born like some of you. I came from a loving kind family that is blind to color. You must turn yourselves around and support this wonderful smart man. See all the things he is trying to do to make things right for all of us. He is not perfect and yes he has made a couple of misteps however nothing compared to your last several Presidents. Lets pray and support him. Thank God for an intelligent, strong family man and great father. One who takes his family first and then his country meaning us. We love you Mr. President and we will stand with you.

I’m sure we all know who this obama person is. I think the “who is obama” answer on these surveys may skew the results as people may choose that trying to be funny instead of a yes/no answer.
