Biden heading to Georgia, Ukraine

WASHINGTON — Vice President Joe Biden will travel to Georgia and Ukraine in July.

Biden’s office says the trip will come during the week of July 20-24. More details will be released later.

Biden is expected to meet with leaders of both countries as well as the opposition and civic groups.

A statement from the vice president’s office says Biden will “demonstrate U.S. support for continued democratic and economic reforms and discuss issues of mutual interest in both countries.”
