Twelve killed by rocket shells in Pakistan

September 12th, 2009 AMRITSAR - An unexploded rocket shell was found in fields of an Indian border village near here late Saturday evening - a day after three rockets from Pakistan exploded in this Punjab district, an official said. There is a possibility that this rocket, which landed in the fields of Pul Kanjari village, was fired from the Pakistan side on Saturday morning.

August 21st, 2009 BANNU - Twelve militants were killed and three security personnel were wounded Friday in fighting in northwest Pakistan, the Online news agency reported. The fighting started after the militants attacked a camp of the security forces in the Jaani Khel area of Bannu district in North West Frontier Province (NWFP).

The fighting started when the militants fired a rocket at the camp of security forces in Razmik area, killing a security personnel and wounding five others.

May 9th, 2009 JAMMU - The Pakistani Army violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir Saturday evening by firing two mortar shells at Indian posts, an army officer said here. 'There has been a violation of the ceasefire by Pakistani troops on the Line of Control in the Rajouri sector,' the army officer, requesting anonymity as he is not authorised to speak to the media.
