Temperatures increase but Delhiites still relieved

'The dust particles suspended in the sky will prevent sunlight from reaching the earth and heating it, so there will be a fall in day temperatures over the next two days,' an official at Safdarjung Met office said.

April 25th, 2009 NEW DELHI - Delhiites heaved a sigh of relief Saturday as according to the weatherman temperatures dropped slightly below average, bringing some respite from the heat. An official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the maximum temperature Saturday dropped a degree below average, to 37.2 degree Celsius.
