Man running for office in Ohio puts names of political opponents on tombstones in his yard

SYLVANIA, Ohio — A man running for office in Ohio has put a Halloween display in his yard that includes tombstones bearing the names of his political opponents. Royal Barber of Sylvania Township near Toledo said it’s all in good fun. Some of his opponents don’t think so.

Ohio house used for firefighter training exercises suffers real blaze; cause investigated

SYLVANIA, Ohio — A vacant house in flames must have looked familiar to northwestern Ohio firefighters. Less than 24 hours earlier, they were at the same house putting out fires for a training exercise.
