The company's exports grew at a faster pace, logging 32.5 percent rise at 24,251 units, compared to 18,301 units exported in June 2008.

June 1st, 2009 CHENNAI - City-based two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Co Monday reported 5 percent growth in its last month sales at 118,574 units, compared to 112,770 vehicles sold in May 2008. The company in a statement said its domestic motorcycles sales grew 3 percent to 43,165 units from 41,901 vehicles it sold in the like period last year.

April 1st, 2009 CHENNAI - The city-based TVS Motor Co logged 4 percent growth in two-wheeler sales last month, the company said in a statement Wednesday. TVS sold 121,988 units in March as against 117,045 units sold in the corresponding period of the previous year, it added.

March 5th, 2009 CHENNAI - Commercial vehicles manufacturer Ashok Leyland Wednesday reported 57 percent year-on-year fall in its February sales. The company sold 3,245 units (domestic 2,669 and exports 576) last month, compared to 7,501 units (domestic 6,824 units and exports 677 units) in February 2008, an official statement said.

March 2nd, 2009 CHENNAI - Two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor has posted a 13 percent growth in sales in February, selling over 107,300 units as compared to the sales figure of 95,235 units for the corresponding period of the previous year. According to the company, exports amounted to 16,583 units for the period under review as against about 12,500 units shipped out the previous year.
