Sonia to visit Rae Bareli today

August 12th, 2009 RAE BARELI - United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi Wednesday visited over a dozen villages in her Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituency and inspected works taken up under the central government's flagship rural jobs scheme. Before concluding her three-day tour, Gandhi inspected the works being carried out under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) in the Unchahar region and enquired from the villagers employed there about the progress.
