Slight earthquake felt in Jaipur

October 14th, 2009 JAIPUR - Rajasthan police and enforcement officials of the Food and Civil Supplies Department in Jaipur seized nearly 6000 litres of adulterated clarified butter (ghee) on Tuesday. Acting on a tip-off, officials raided a unit manufacturing spurious ghee at Jaipur's Phulera town.

October 12th, 2009 SHILLONG - An earthquake of moderate intensity shook some parts of the northeast region, including Meghalaya, Assam, on Sunday night, according to the Meteorological Department. According to Central Seismological Observatory in Shillong, the earthquake, which occurred at 11.56 p.m., was measured 4.9 on the Richter scale.
