Seven to eight persons rescued in building collapse incident: BMC(Lead: Mumbai building)

October 4th, 2009 SURAT - Five people of a family were pulled out alive from the debris of an old three-story house that collapsed here on Saturday night. All the Bohra family members were in the building when the house collapsed but were extracted out of it with minor injuries.

September 29th, 2009 KANPUR - Four persons were killed and seven others injured when a three-storey building collapsed here on Tuesday. As per initial reports, two to three persons are still feared trapped under the debris.

September 25th, 2009 Tiruvannamalai, Sept 25 (ANI): A massive accident took place when fire erupted in a building stocked with firecrackers in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvannamalai district. The fire led to the bursting of the crackers, leading to a major explosion, which caused the three-storey building to collapse, killing eight people, injuring 15 others and trapping around 25 people underneath.

The building,'Yusuf Manzil' at Lamington Road, caved on Tuesday evening after one of its main pillars weakened due to some construction work carried out by a shop on the ground floor of the building.

August 25th, 2009 MUMBAI - At least three of the 10 people trapped under the rubble of the central Mumbai's five-storey building that collapsed here on Tuesday evening have been brought out during the rescue operation being carried out by police and fire brigade personnel.
