BHOPAL - Four unidentified gunmen kidnapped a school boy Tuesday when he was on his way to school in Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur district, police said.
“Four people came in a Maruti van and stopped the child on the pretext of asking for some one’s address. As soon as the boy stopped, he was dragged inside the van which then sped towards the town’s market area,” a police officer said quoting eye-witnesses.
“The boy, who was aged around 10 to 12 years, is yet to be identified as the management of Subhash School, where he was studying, has not been able to identify who the child was,” the officer said.
“Also, none of the parents have turned up to complain about their missing child,” Mandsaur Superintendent D.P. Gupta told IANS.
