Ram Sene Chief Mutalik sent to judicial custody till July 28

July 28th, 2009 MYSORE - The judicial custody of Sriram Sene Chief Pramod Mutalik, who was arrested for allegedly making inflammatory speech at Kyathamaranahalli, a Mysore suburb, in April this year, ends today. On July 25, the Sessions Court sent him to judicial custody till today.

July 22nd, 2009 HYDERABAD - The judicial custody of former Satyam Computers chairman B Ramalinga Raju and other accused in connection with the 7,800 crore fraud at the IT major ends today. On July 8, a local court had extended their judicial custody till today.

July 18th, 2009 LUCKNOW - A Moradabad district court on Saturday granted interim bail to Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee chief Rita Bahuguna Joshi till July 29. Joshi was granted bail on a surety of Rs 30,000.

July 8th, 2009 HYDERABAD - A local court on Wednesday extended the judicial custody of former Satyam Computers chairman B Ramalinga Raju and other accused in connection with the 7,800 crore fraud at the IT major till July 22. The accused-Ramalinga Raju, his brother and Satyam's former managing director Rama Raju, ex-CFO V Srinivas, former partners of Price Waterhouse S Gopalakrishnan and T Srinivas along with Satyam Computer Services former employees G Ramakrishna, D Venkatapathi Raju and Ch Srisailam-were produced before the XIV additional chief metropolitan magistrate.

April 6th, 2009 MYSORE - Sri Ram Sene leader Pramod Muthalik was taken into preventive custody on Monday. "Muthalik had come to visit the Kyatharamanhalli suburb, where group clashes took place this week," Mysore police said, adding that the prohibitory orders had been imposed in the area under Section 144.
