July 28th, 2009 GREATER NOIDA - A farmer was robbed of Rs.10 million (Rs.1 crore) here Tuesday while he was on his way to execute a sale deed of a property, police said. The robbery took place in the Dankaur town of Greater Noida around 12 noon when Chhatar Singh was going in a Scorpio jeep with his family members to execute a registered sale deed at the district headquarters of Surajpur.

July 24th, 2009 GREATER NOIDA - Four armed men barged into a transformer manufacturing factory here and, after locking up five employees of the firm, robbed copper ingots and the guard's rifle, police said Friday. The incident occurred Thursday midnight at the Macro Plast Ltd factory in the Surajpur Industrial Area of Greater Noida, police said.

July 21st, 2009 GREATER NOIDA - Three men fled with a transport vehicle of a media house after seriously injuring the driver on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway early Tuesday. The men had requested a lift from the driver.

May 19th, 2009 GREATER NOIDA - A businessman was robbed of Rs.14.50 lakh cash in the Tilapta area of Greater Noida Tuesday morning, police said. According to the police, Kesh Ram, 44 and his son Sunil Kumar, 23 were returning to their home in Sakipur area after withdrawing the cash from the Punjab National Bank (PNB) at Railway Road near Dadri, when four men on two motorcycles intercepted them.

April 16th, 2009 GREATER NOIDA - A doctor was shot dead by unidentified assailants outside his clinic here, police said Thursday. Amit Gupta, a medical practitioner, who ran a clinic in the Jagat Farms market of Greater Noida was shot dead by unidentified assailants late Wednesday, police said.

April 9th, 2009 GREATER NOIDA - The body of a 28-year-old man was found here Thursday, the police said. The victim was identified as Santosh Verma, a supervisor working in a construction company.
