Police reviewing videotapes in pastor’s killing

ANADARKO, Okla. — Police in Oklahoma say they are reviewing video surveillance tapes for clues in the brutal killing of a pastor inside her church.

Authorities say investigators have gotten video surveillance of the area from the time 61-year-old Carol Daniels was killed. Miller declined to say what the images show.

Daniels’ body was found Sunday in the Christ Holy Sanctified Church in Anadarko. A preliminary autopsy found she died of “multiple sharp force injuries,” and a prosecutor described the crime scene as “the most horrific” he’s ever witnessed.

Police have been tightlipped about details, though the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says Daniels was last seen alive at the church about 10 a.m. Her body was discovered about two hours later.
