Pennsylvania House condemns senseless Mumbai attacks

October 8th, 2009 NEW YORK - The UN Security Council Thursday joined Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in condemning "in the strongest terms" the suicide attack on the Indian embassy that killed 17 people earlier in the day. The council said in a statement that it was concerned by the "serious threats posed by the Taliban, Al Qaeda and illegal armed groups" to the Afghan society.

October 8th, 2009 WASHINGTON - The US has condemned Thursday's bombing near the Indian Embassy in Kabul that killed at least 17 people and injured 76, saying there's no justification for this kind of senseless violence. "The United States condemns the bombing today (Thursday) near the Indian Embassy and Ministry of Interior in Kabul that has killed several people and wounded many more," the State Department said in a statement.

October 5th, 2009 WASHINGTON - The US condemned the attack on the UN food office in Pakistan Monday that left five people dead, calling it a "senseless" act against individuals helping to help feed the poor.
