Pakistan for talks with India on countering terror

September 27th, 2009 NEW YORK - Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna conveyed New Delhi's serious concerns about Pakistan-based militant groups to his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi during what he called "useful, constructive and candid" talks here Sunday.

September 24th, 2009 ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik has claimed that India is involved in fanning terrorism inside Pakistan even though it has no 'concrete' evidence in this regard. In an interview to a private television channel, Malik claimed that extremists who were apprehended during raids in the Swat Valley have confirmed India's hand in terror activities inside Pakistan.

July 24th, 2009 ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik Friday said India was interfering in Balochistan and India-run terror camps in Afghanistan were training youth from Balochistan, Online news agency reported. Malik made the comments while speaking on the Balochistan issue in the Senate, the upper house of Pakistan parliament.

June 21st, 2009 JAMMU - A Kashmiri Pandit group, Panun Kashmir, has warned India against resuming talks with Pakistan under US pressure. "Linking improvement in situation in Pakistan or for that matter in Kashmir as a basis of Kashmir resolution is a suicidal move," said Ajay Charungoo, chairman of the Panun Kashmir, at a seminar here Sunday.

June 17th, 2009 ON BOARD AIR INDIA ONE - India would review Pakistan's actions against anti-India terror outfits before deciding on resuming the composite dialogue mid-July, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said Wednesday, a day after he met Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari in Russia. The prime minister said he would wait for the outcome of the talks between the foreign secretaries of the two countries, who are expected to meet within a month, before taking a decision on resuming the composite dialogue that stalled after the Mumbai terror attacks nearly seven months ago.

Addressing a press conference on the sidelines of the G-20 summit here, Manmohan Singh also said that India had provided Pakistan with all the answers to its queries on the 26/11 terror attacks and the ball was now 'in Pakistan's court' on bringing the perpetrators to book.
