Pakistan blast toll reaches 45

October 10th, 2009 ISLAMABAD - The death toll of the Khyber Bazaar suicide blast in the northwest Pakistani city of Peshawar has reached 52 while a large number of victims are still under treatment in various hospitals, a local TV channel reported Saturday. The authorities feared increase in the toll, the private TV GEO News reported.

September 19th, 2009 ISLAMABAD - The toll in a suicide blast in northwest Pakistan Friday mounted to 39 as six more bodies were recovered, media reports Saturday said. According to Kohat police, 150 kg of explosives were exploded by a bomber who rammed his explosives-filled vehicle in roadside markets in Kohat district Friday, leaving at least 39 people dead and 54 injured, GEO News TV channel reported.

August 17th, 2009 ISLAMABAD - At least 10 people were killed in a suicide blast at a town in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province, media reports said Friday. The reports said the suicide blast took place in a market in Kohat town and several shops were completely destroyed in the blast.
