One killed, nine injured in Peshawar car bomb attack (Third Lead)

October 15th, 2009 ISLAMABAD - A six-year-old child was killed and 10 others injured Thursday in a car bomb explosion in Pakistan's northwestern Peshawar city, police and eyewitnesses said. A man detonated an explosives-laden car through a remote control device at a residential area in the Kohat locality of the city, police chief Liaqat Ali said.

August 15th, 2009 PESHAWAR - At least five security personnel were killed and four others including a civilian,were injured in a suicide car bomb attack at a checkpoint in Swat valley on Saturday. "A suicide bomber blew up his vehicle near a military checkpost in Waliabad village, killing at least three soldiers," The Nation quoted a senior security official, as saying.
