July 27th, 2009 LUCKNOW - B.L.Joshi will reach the Uttar Pradesh capital Tuesday morning to take over as the state's governor, succeeding T.V.Rajeshwar, who left Monday evening after completing his five-year term. June 29th, 2009 LUCKNOW - Two Dalit youths were beaten and paraded naked after their faces were painted black for having collected wood from a mango orchard without permission in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur district, police said Monday. Putan and Nanku, both aged around 24 years, were caught stealing wood from Vinod Singh's mango orchard in Kotar village of Sitapur district, about 80 km from here, Sunday.
