September 13th, 2009 NEW DELHI - A Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) junior engineer, who was in charge of track maintenance, was suspended on Sunday after a coach of the Delhi Metro train derailed on the Yamuna Bank-Dwarka this morning. According to reports, the incident took place around 6 a.m, when two wheels of the front coach of the train between Yamuna Bank-Dwarka went off the tracks.

August 12th, 2009 NEW DELHI - A Delhi Metro train jumped tracks in the national capital on Wednesday afternoon, but no was injured in this freak accident. No one was injured in the mishap, which took place at Dwarka station in south-west Delhi at around 3:20 pm.

January 10th, 2009 NEW DELHI - Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, a regal train chugging across the land of maharajas in western India, Sunday started its maiden journey, with the government promising to launch similar services in more states. 'Many states have shown interest in this regard and I am going to take up the issue before the cabinet and also with the states that are keen on having luxury tourist trains,' Tourism Minister Ambika Soni told reporters after flagging off the new train at the Safdarjung railway station here.
