Hospitals barred from discharging those injured in Lahore blast

July 15th, 2009 ISLAMABAD - At least four people were killed Wednesday in an explosion at a fireworks factory in eastern Pakistan, TV reports said. The incident occurred in Muridke city of Punjab province.

July 2nd, 2009 RAWALPINDI - At least six persons were killed and over 15 injured in a suicide bomb attack here on Thursday. The attack which took place in the Chur Chowk area of the city was earlier referred to as a bomb blast, but later senior police officials confirmed that it was a suicide attack.

June 30th, 2009 ISLAMABAD - Four people were killed and three injured Tuesday in a blast at a petrol pump in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, TV reports said. The blast occurred in a car parked at a petrol pump near the Quetta-Karachi Highway, Geo TV said citing police officials.

June 12th, 2009 ISLAMABAD - At least five people were killed and over 100 injured in bomb blasts targeting two mosques in Pakistan Friday, media reports said. One person was killed and several injured in a bomb blast at the Jamia Naeemia mosque in the city of Lahore in eastern Pakistan and four people were killed and over 90 injured in an explosion targeting the Nowshera supply depot mosque in the city of Nowshera in northwest Pakistan, Geo News reported.

June 12th, 2009 LAHORE - At least seven persons have been reportedly killed and several others injured in serial bomb blasts which rocked two mosques in Nowshera and Lahore. According to sources the blasts took place after the juma prayers.

May 27th, 2009 LAHORE - A massive car bomb ripped through a building in the Civil Lines area of Pakistan's Lahore city Wednesday morning, killing an estimated 30 people and injuring at least 80. Raja Riaz, a senior minister in the Punjab government, told reporters that about 30 people were killed in the car bomb blast in the 15 Building that was reduced to rubble.
