Funds slowing down for rural job scheme: MayawatiFebruary 2nd, 2009 LUCKNOW - Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati Tueaday accused the central government of slowing down the flow of funds for implementing the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) in the state. 'A chunk of funds against the scheme for the current financial year were still pending with the central government, even though the financial year was coming to an end,' she told reporters.
