By admin

First of all does simply marrying the victim and also on coercion only, relieve him of his henious crime?
Secondly, how can such a person expected to take proper care of a lady he chose to rape and was then forced to marry?
Let you opinion be heard in your vote and in the comments below.

How can 20% people say that a rapist marrying the victim can right the wrong!!!!
Do they even know what a rape means?!! This would mean if I’m lusting after a woman and have no chance of getting her, I can just go right ahead and rape her and everything will be set right. I can then legally rape her everyday..
What about the poor victim? What was her fault that first she had to undergo a suffering worse than death and then is forced to live with the man who inflicted that suffering on her… She can never love or respect that beast… All her hopes and dreams of being loved by her Prince Charming being dashed away, she would then have to spend the rest of her life with a man she would’ve wished the most horrible death upon.
Every rapist should be given an exemplary punishment like castration… Infact rapists are in turn raped by fellow inmates in jail… That serves them right..

Rape is not “sex”. Rape is a violent attack on a person by another person who wants to control and hurt the individual. That’s like saying, if someone beats you up, should they marry you so they can continue to beat you up aka “domestic violence”?
How completely stupid.

It depends on the kind of rape. If it was forced rape, then no, it will not help by marrying the victim. However, if it were statutory rape, that is, consensual sex, then yes I think marriage would make things ok because it wasn’t in violence, it was in love, possibly.
I say that because there was a situation in which a guy had a rape charge removed from his record after he married the woman. She was 15 and he was 17 at the time. He had already served his time. They were married after that.

1.Rapist must be hanged if proved. Otherwise if victim agree to marry the the culprit that should be done under the supervision of Court.
2. Rapist must be imprisoned till death if circumstacial evidences shows that the culprit tries to hide the facts or make any steps to the victim’s life may be in danger.
3. Rapist’s eyes may be donated to blind persons if the culprit sustained death sentence from the judge.

On election night 1960 an already married 24 year old foreigner raped a 17 year old student. Oh, but he married her and that made it all ok huh. NO IT DID NOT. RAPE IS RAPE. Even in Hawaii.

Believing that you have the power to force a woman into marriage is what gives men the idea that they have the right to rape women in the first place. I can’t even imagine how it would feel to be forced to be married to anybody, let alone your rapist.

so aproximately 16% of the voters must be rapisits .ask the raped , i bet 100% of the victims say not just no but HELL NO . force them into sex than add insult to injury by forcing a victim to live with the perpetrator what sick individual could even ask such an attrocious question.and what sick mind would even consider marrying thier attacker.continual abuse. no compassion ,consideration,so when do we heal i bet to say the other 84% may feel death penealty to the perpatrator may right the wrong maybe.

To marry someone who rapes you is to give in to the fear and control. A rapist thrives, feeds and lives on coontrol. Power that they do not posess in their own life. Who is to say they will not do the same thing to the children in the household.

The poll question is a fairly silly one. As anyone with a modicum of common sense knows that rape is a serious crime of violence. If the assailant and victim marry, it does not negate the crime. The victim may forgive, but the law does not. At least in the US.

if the victim makes the call to marry the perpetrator this issues are mixed up. Victims rights to decide their future partners, should legal definitions permanently determine the outcome of personal relationships, and the ages the parties and circumstances of the crime are all relevant. Broad brush approaches will be ok, but then the devil is always in the details of what actually is going down with couples.you will remember the canadian teacher and student case.

The question is wow!!, how can rape ever be ok when the rapist marries the rape victim, wow! the 20% dont know the meaning of rape nor the meaning of marriage. It is surprising that there are those who think along those lines…no…no…NO!

Wat a silly poll? Will the people who are saying to marry do the same if the girl is their daughter?
