On 20th April 2009, we arrived at Atlanta Airport to catch our flight DL64 to Manchester to find that our seats had been sold and we could not board our plane home. The fact that we had bought our tickets 11 months earlier was of no importance at all. We asked if we could be put on to a flight to JFK, we were told by the lady at the desk, there were no more flight out of Atlanta that night, when I asked to talk to her superior, she said there was nobody above her in the Airport. Her manner to ourselves and to the other people with us left a lot ot be desired. We were then put into a hotel and given our flight money in a cheque. We were eventually told we could fly to Barcelona the following night then by Monarch Airways to England on Wednesday morning. The following night we were told our tickets were of no use as the date was wrong, and we did not have tickets on the Monarch flight. Another lady there found us a flight to JFK and a flight home from there. Our luggage did not arrive until Saturday at 17.30. with damage to my travelling case. We found the treament from the first lady was pathetic and I will never fly DELTA AIRWAYS, or recommend it to anybody. My age is 70 yrs and my friend Margaret Meadows is 60 yrs. the Treatment from your Airways is disgusting. My Addrress is MRS V POLLARD,
