Constellation Energy gets Texas school contract

BALTIMORE — Constellation Energy Group Inc. said Wednesday that its subsidiary, Constellation NewEnergy Inc., has signed an electricity supply agreement with the Fort Bend Independent School District in Fort Bend County, Texas.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the agreement, Constellation NewEnergy will supply 347,644 megawatt hours of electricity to the district’s 69 schools and additional operational facilities.

Constellation Energy supplies electricity and related energy services to nearly 3,000 schools and 300 school districts throughout the United States, the company said.
