September 15th, 2009 VARANASI - Four engineering students of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) were arrested on Tuesday in alleged connection in ragging of a junior student in Varanasi. According to reports, the arrested engineering students sexually assaulted a student on Monday night.

September 10th, 2009 LUCKNOW - Six students of a private engineering college have been detained for allegedly ragging a student in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district, police said Thursday. Police detained the six students, who are in their second year at Ganeshi Lal Narayandas Institute of Technology, Wednesday night for ragging Vikas Parashar, a first year student.
