CBI files 5000-page chargesheet against Padamsinh Patil

June 19th, 2009 MUMBAI - The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has seized a large quantity of arms and ammunition as well as incriminating documents from two houses owned by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Padamsinh Patil, accused of murdering his cousin and his driver. A CBI team supervised by Western Region Joint Director Rishi Raj Singh raided two apartments owned by Patil in Colaba in south Mumbai late Thursday, a CBI source said.

March 30th, 2009 MUMBAI - A special court here today appointed Anjali Waghmare as the new lawyer for Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone terrorist captured alive in the Mumbai terror attacks last year. Waghmare, who is a lawyer from the state legal aid cell, will now represent Kasab.
