Once again, an innocent has been the victim of police brutality. Two days have passed, and still no action taken against the accused policemen involved in what ostensibly is a fake encounter. Ironically, Menaka Gandhi is demanding protection for her son, Rahul Gandhi, at a time, when an innocent is being brutally assaulted and murdered in the BJP led state of Uttarakhand. What about Ranbir? Why doesn’t any politician raise voice against this cold blooded murder? The media and the citizens need to come forward and raise this issue, so that the guilty be punished. Is a man’s life so cheap? What is the Government doing… just ordering inquiries? These inquires continue to galore without bringing any relief to the deprieved families. It’s a blot on India’s democracy that we’ve to live in an atmosphere of fear, even after attaining much spought-after freedom. The flagrant violeneces continue to prtoliferate. Is the Government listening?
